Port Authority Backs SeaWex: Sustainability Without New Pedestals and Plug & Play Deployment

The Port Authority  has launched a technological modernization focused on sustainability, efficiency, and leveraging existing infrastructure. Thanks to the SeaWex SmartPort solution, advanced telemetry has been integrated into pre-built pedestals without the need to install new components or alter the port’s physical architecture.

Reuse of Built-In Pedestals: Efficiency Without Construction

Unlike other solutions that require prefabricated pedestals or additional wiring, SeaWex enables:

Utilization of existing built-in pedestals Integration of sensors and controllers without structural changes Avoidance of civil works and unnecessary costs Minimization of visual and environmental impact

Direct Installation by the Port’s Technical Team

Installation was carried out by the Port Authority’s own maintenance team, thanks to SeaWex’s plug & play design. The system connects directly to electrical panels, detects real-time consumption, and integrates with SeaWex Manager—the platform that allows data visualization, alert generation, and resource optimization through an intuitive interface.

🌱 Technology Aligned with Port Objectives

This implementation reinforces the Port Authority’s commitment to sustainability, energy efficiency, and responsible digitalization. SeaWex proves that modernization is possible without replacement, optimization without oversizing, and progress without complication.
